Healthy fats need to come from fish, nuts, olive and other healthy vegetable oils. So a low fat diet is good if you eliminate unhealthy fats, but not so good if you eliminate healthy fats.

At the end of the day no low fat low carb diet, or any other very low calorie diet is going to give you what you really want. However there is no need to take these measures because you can lose weight without having to starve yourself.
